An invitation into inner worlds of the psyche and subconscious.
Over the past three decades, cloth collage tapestry artist Andrea Pritchard has made over 80 tapestries, each inspired by her questing experiences that include shamanic practices, Internal Family System sessions, and the embodied wisdom of InterPlay.

These cards speak to parts of yourself that may not often come out and play: shy parts, fun parts, creative parts, deep parts. Make discoveries about yourself, your friends and how you respond to the outside world. What you find or obtain on your quests might be new insights, wisdom, and joy… or perhaps, even a new you!
Created by tapestry artist Andrea Pritchard, this self-discovery journey deck and 26-page guidebook, features 54, two-sided cards, in 4 suits. They creatively inform the important aspects of your journey – body, emotions, spirit and intellect… with prompts, questions and suggestions to help guide your way.

Tapestries
Experience the art for yourself.
The tapestries vary in size, but most are between 4’ – 5 feet wide and 6- 8 feet high.
They rotate on display in Andrea’s carriage house gallery. To share them with the world, she
and her friends have put some of the images and philosophy on a deck of 54 cards.
The stories within the large-scale tapestries are translated into cards. One tapestry can contain several characters and stories.
Each card includes characters from Andrea’s tapestries with suggestions for how to interact with the images and use them as a jumping off point to your own quests.

The cards are full of the vibrancy and immediacy of your hangings. The way they are reproduced still holds some of the scale of your work. The intimacy is perhaps even more present in the images that are important parts of each piece translated into cards. The cards hold the strength, honesty and tenderness of your hangings. What a good way to have more people have a chance to see your work. I will enjoy using

The tapestries are so full of color and life; it’s such a joy to be in their presence.
I have had the privilege of seeing many of these extraordinary wall hangings. They never cease to excite, impress, and create wonder and curiosity in my mind. They are magical in that they evoke deeply held beliefs, events, and feelings.
About Andy
I love to make things… houses, gardens, paintings, tapestries, fun. When my friends and I go adventuring, I love to find what sparks our imaginations and makes us feel alive.

Big cloth fabric collages I create to tell stories that come from my psyche, heart, soul and body.

The cards are magic keys that open doors to the rooms of your inner castle. They incorporate many tools for questing and finding our way, influenced by my work in 3 different systems of knowledge: InterPlay, Internal Family Systems and shamanism.
